Ryan is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) with over 26 years of experience in the financial services industry. Based in the Austin office, he delivers extensive expertise across multiple facets of financial services, specifically focusing on comprehensive financial planning and discretionary wealth management. He firmly believes that the best financial relationships are built on trust and transparency and that, combined with a fiduciary platform, this trust delivers client success as the ultimate reward.
Prior to joining BakerAvenue, Ryan spent 25 years at Fidelity Investments, including 15 years in advisory leadership, leading Investor Centers across Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, and Austin. Ryan is a former collegiate athlete at the University of Mississippi, where he graduated with a BBA in both Managerial and Banking Finance.
Making an Impact
Ryan stays active in youth sports alongside his two sons, often coaching on the baseball field or joining school cross country practices to escort the team, even if it’s getting increasingly difficult to catch up. He is also a passionate dog lover with a deep affinity for Labrador Retrievers, dedicating countless hours to training them. Driven by personal family experiences, Ryan and his family devote time to vital community causes benefiting autism, Alzheimer’s, and mental health.
A Secret About Ryan
As a native Texan, Ryan can probably be found annoying the locals at ski resorts around Colorado and Montana during major holiday weeks. However, no matter how far he travels, home will always be the town of Fredericksburg, Texas, where his family loves to escape and spend every single free chance they get.
