While studying in college, she also had the opportunity to serve clients at Bank of America, and intern at First Republic Bank on the Private Equity Loan team.

Making impact

Elena volunteered as a tax preparer with VITA- a tax program founded by the IRS to help low-income individuals and families file their taxes at no cost. During the past four years, she has also volunteered for the Little Brothers of the Elderly.

A secret about Elena

Not many know that Elena grew up in a small village in Moldova, on a large farmland with lots of domestic animals- including a horse named Dusea. During her childhood, she and her family used a carriage to travel around her village. In Moldova, Elena received her degree in teaching, as she loves helping others. She is looking forward to the opportunity to once again ride a horse, along a coastal beach.
