Mark H. Hayes, Ph.D.  

Dr. Hayes is advising Great Gable on the firm’s energy-related investments, leveraging his background in oil, gas, coal and renewable technologies.  Mark is also a Research Fellow at the Stanford Program on Energy and Sustainable Development, where he directs the Program’s research on natural gas markets and on Chinese energy growth.  He is an editor and co-author of “Natural Gas and Geopolitics” published by Cambridge University Press in 2006.  Prior to Great Gable, he was an analyst in the Global Power and Utilities Group at Morgan Stanley in New York City. Dr. Hayes completed his Ph.D. in the Interdisciplinary Program on Environment and Resources at Stanford University in 2006.  He also has a B.A. in Geology from Colgate University.

 
Philip H. Lee, CFA, CPA  

Phillip’s primary research focus is in the IT and semiconductor space. Prior to Great Gable, Mr. Lee was an associate analyst at JPMorgan from 2002 to 2006, covering semiconductor capital equipment on a top ranked team. From 1997 to 2001, he was a senior auditor at Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP in San Jose, California, with a focus on semiconductor related clients. Mr. Lee earned a B.S.M. in Accounting from the AB Freeman School of Business, Tulane University, in 1997.

 
Ron Keith  

Mr. Keith is advising Great Gable on several investment opportunities. Mr. Keith operates a small consulting practice specializing in helping emerging companies with strategy, organizational structure and operations management. His clients include companies in electronics manufacturing, specialty media, hospitality management, internet security and construction materials. Prior to starting his own consultancy, Mr. Keith worked for more than 20 years in high tech manufacturing for companies such as Westinghouse, Rockwell International, Alcatel and others. In 2004 he left Flextronics International after more than 8 years as Vice President and General Manager where he managed divisions with more than $1.5B in annual sales. Mr. Keith has undergraduate degrees in engineering and manufacturing. He earned an M.A. in International Management as well as an M.B.A. in Operations Research from the University of Texas at Dallas. He has been published internationally on topics ranging from SPC and TQM to Organizational Strategy and Technology Trends.
